The Palm Coast Model Yacht Club was formed in 2017.

We are proud members of the American Model Yachting Association (AMYA Club #366), dedicated to furthering the hobby of radio control sail boating.

We are a mixed group from all different walks of life who share a common passion for sailing and fun.

We sail on Thursday afternoons, weather permitting, from about Noon to 3:00 at the north end of City Centre Pond located in Palm Coast.  Just follow the signs to City Hall and look for us at pond side.

Some of us are R/C rookies.  Some are new to sailing.  Some have sailed ‘sit-in’ boats all over the world.  Most of our members are relatively new to R/C sailing but that doesn’t preclude us from having many different class boats among our club members, including the Soling 1M, Dragon Force 65, Dragon Flite 95, 36/600, EC-12, US-12, US 1 Metre and others.  Doesn't matter what you have...  Bring it!

Our members are welcoming, relaxed and willing to help out rookies with tuning and sailing tips.

And we always have an extra boat on hand for "sea trials."

We often participate in scored racing at the South Daytona and Jacksonville Model Yacht Clubs.

(We are casual racers on our pond and save our competitive juices (mostly) for championship racing and scored events at SDMYC and JMYC.)

PCMYC dues are currently zero dollars per year, but we expect them to double in 2019…

We are working on getting more information onto the website.

If you can't get to the pond, you can always email us at pcmyc366@gmail.com
